COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fans can get their first look at the 2025 South Carolina volleyball team this Saturday, Aug. 16, at the annual Garnet & Black Scrimmage. The match begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Carolina Volleyball Center, and admission is free.
VIP members will have the opportunity to select their reserved seat for the season and pick up their membership card. Fans interested in joining the VIP Club can click here for more information.
The 2025 South Carolina volleyball team welcomes a set of fresh faces as there are six freshmen and six transfers on this year’s squad. Five of the six returners are upperclassmen, bringing veteran experience to the bunch.
Following the scrimmage, the Gamecocks travel to the site of the 2025 SEC Tournament in Savannah, Georgia, on Aug. 23 for an exhibition match against Georgia Southern at 4:00 p.m. The regular season opens at home with a three-match series, Aug. 29-31.
