DHAKA, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) – – Engineers of China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co, Ltd (MBEC) Sunday morning effectively introduced the 32nd range of Bangladesh’s Padma Bridge.
The 3,140-ton length was put between wharf 4 and dock 5, Dewan Abdul Quader, a senior Bangladeshi specialist of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project, told Xinhua.
Bangladeshi government authorities and others saw the establishment interaction at a site of the scaffold.
With the establishment of the 150-meter long range, Quader said the 32nd range among the 41 ranges had been introduced on the 6.15-km span, making 4.8 km of the scaffold total.
Two additional ranges are supposed to be introduced for this present month, while the rest will be introduced by December.
Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheik Hasina initiated the fundamental works of Padma Bridge project, the greatest of its sort in the country, in December 2015.
